Air conditioning compressors are an important part of automotive air conditioning systems which are used to cool the air inside a vehicle. It ensures the compression of the refrigerant in the cooling circuit of the air conditioning system.

The drive usually takes place via the pulley with a magnetic coupling. The newer generation is controlled via electronic control valves.
